Two 1 Act Plays by Richard James

directed by Marlene Tincknell

Production Dates - 12 to 14 April

I Am Hamlet

An amateur actor auditions for the lead role in a local production of Hamlet. There is some fun to be had as the director puts him through his acting paces, but slowly we learn that the actor has more in common with the Prince of Denmark than meets the eye...

Being Rose

Rose looks back on her life from old age but as we see her memories replayed before us, differences emerge between her stories and reality. As her confusion increases, a doctor's diagnosis explains all. In this emotional look at the devastating effects of dementia, Rose is able to recollect momentous emotional events in her life which are vividly and evocatively played out on stage.

Things We Should Have Said Today

by Pete Barrett

Directed by Sue Duncan

Production Dates - 26 to 28 July 2018

A full length comedic family saga set in a farmhouse kitchen where Betty is having a bad day. She's overheating, her mother is demented, her son is coming out, her daughter is getting divorced, the farm is losing money and her husband is hiding away from it all under the tractor.
